This black and white picture of a major street on a college campus is giving a glimpse of a mellow Sunday afternoon in March.
This is my best image out of all of them due to it being a very simple, but also a very thought out way of giving a certain message. There's not much going on in the picture, but the black and white is what adds to the feel of it being mellow and almost that feel of a relaxing/lazy Sunday feeling.
Of this assignment the most challenging part was planning what I'm going to take pictures of and how am I going to need to lay it out in order to fit a specific composition/lighting/color.
To create much stronger images, I'm going to try and give a more real feeling through my pictures which viewers can relate to, so that they're are more drawn in and understand the concept.
I agree with this being a great photo. Although like you said it is simple, it has enough going on that it actually is very aesthetically pleasing. Like you said the picture itself does remind me of the feeling of a relaxing Sunday. That is because typically Academy street is very busy and in this photo it is very calm and relaxing with only one car passing by. Especially with this picture in black and white it makes it way more calming.

I am really drawn to this image that you chose because I feel like it's very calming. I love that you used the black and white theme to portray what you were trying to tell us viewers. It makes total sense to me that this photo itself is the perfect description of what a Sunday looks like on campus. The mellowness of the image truly enhances the actual content of the image, as well as the meaning behind it.
